Sydney Volleyball League

The Sydney Volleyball League (SVL) is the premier clubs-based competition in New South Wales, hosted by NSW Volleyball.

Sydney Uni competes in SVL with representative teams at all levels from Juniors to Mens & Womens Open Honours and Divisions 1 & 2. Players do not have to be students to participate. Club teams also participate in a number of pre-season NSW state cup tournaments in preparation for Sydney League.

Manly Cup (MWVA), 22nd – 23rd April
Illawarra (NSW) State Cup, 6th – 7th May
Newcastle (NSW) State Cup, 20th – 21st May

Who can try out for a Usyd rep team?
Anyone can try out. You don’t have to be a student.

Do I need to pre-register before attending tryouts?
Not essential but preferred. We can get your details at the start of the session.
